This article examines the growing use of AI in recruitment to boost HR efficiency, highlighting concerns around fairness and the risk of bias against vulnerable groups. As AI can replicate existing societal biases, defining and ensuring fairness is crucial for equitable hiring practices. Through a review of current research, the article explores how fairness can be defined, categorized, and implemented in AI-driven recruitment, offering recommendations for fostering fairer, more inclusive AI hiring systems.
