In an exciting development for AI-driven recruitment, the BIAS Project hosted a virtual co-creation workshop on October 29, 2024. The focus? “Business Modelling for a Trustworthy AI-Powered Recruitment Platform” — bringing together the brightest minds across Europe to shape the future of ethical hiring. 🎯

The workshop opened an introduction to the project and workshop from the host Soumya Kanti Datta, Digiotouch. It was followed by a scholarly presentation from Prof. Pınar Øztürk (NTNU) who explored the intricate balance of fair and interpretable AI in recruitment systems. Building on this foundation, Dr. Carlotta Rigotti from Leiden University provided crucial insights into the AI Act and its implications for workplace technology. 🎓
